Growing up in Calcutta (now Kolkata), India, the co-founder Francis was touched by the social work of the late Mother Teresa (Saint Teresa of Calcutta) whom he met several times. Her soft-spoken kind words were forever remembered, and her selfless devotion to helping the poor and the homeless have profound impact in Francis' life.
